    Default Structure Deck 12 (SD12) – Curse of Darkness

    das nächste SD wird also wie bereits angenommen ein DARK-attribute deck werden

    Features cards from the large group of Dark Attributes!
    This Deck is built to take a new approach with regards to inflicting effect damage to your opponent's Life Points through the use of Magic and Trap Cards.



    SD12-JP001
    Diablos, the Demon King
    Dark/Dragon/7/2800/1000
    This card cannot be Special Summoned. When you Tribute Summon this card, the Tributes must be DARK. During your opponent's Draw Phase before he draws, you can check the top card of your opponent's Deck and put it in either the top or the bottom of the Deck. This card cannot be used as a Tribute for card effects.


    SD12-JP002
    Lord Lich, King of the Dead
    Dark/Undead/6/2400/1200
    When you Tribute Summon this card, the Tribute must be DARK. If this card is sent to the Graveyard by being used as a Tribute for card effects, return this card to your hand.


    SD12-JP003
    Prometes, King of Darkness
    Dark/Demon/4/1200/800
    When this card is Normal Summoned, you can remove from play any number of DARK monsters in your Graveyard. This card gains 400 ATK for each monster removed from play by this effect, until the end of the turn.


    SD12-JP004
    Mist Demon
    Dark/Demon/5/2400/0
    This card can be Normal Summoned without Tribute. If this card is Normal Summoned this way, this card is destroyed during the End Phase and you take 1000 damage.

    Plague Wolf
    Dark/Undead/3/1000/1000
    Once per turn, you can double this card's original ATK. If you do, this card is destroyed during the End Phase.


    SD12-JP006
    Goblin Zombie
    Dark/Zombie/4/1100/1050
    When this card does Battle Damage to your opponent, your opponent puts the top card of his or her deck into his or her Cemetery. If this card goes to the Cemetery from the Field, choose a Undead Sub-Type Monster from your deck with a defense strength of 1200 or less, reveal it to all players, then put it into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

    When this card attack, switch it to Defense mode at the end of Damage Step.

    Killer Tomato
    Dark/Plant/4/1400/1100
    When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, you can Special Summon 1 DARK monster with an ATK of 1500 or less in face-up Attack Position from your Deck. Then shuffle your Deck.

    Mask of Darkness
    Dark/Demon/2/900/400
    FLIP: Select 1 Trap Card from your Graveyard. Add the selected card to your hand.

    SD12-JP010
    Spirit Reaper
    Dark/Zombie/3/300/200
    This card is not destroyed as a result of battle. Destroy this card when it is targeted by the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster. If this card successfully attacks your opponent's Life Points directly, your opponent discards 1 card randomly from his/her hand.

    If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. You cannot change this battle position until the end of your next turn.

    Stealth Bird x2
    Dark/Winged-Beast/3/700/1700
    Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can flip this card into face-down Defense Position. When this card is Flip Summoned, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.

    Dark/Demon/4/1600/1700
    If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard by the effect of a Continuous Spell Card, Special Summon this card from the Graveyard during your Standby Phase.

    Return to your hand 2 DARK monsters with 0 DEF from your Graveyard.

    Equip Magic
    Equip only to a DARK monster. It gains 400 ATK. If the equipped monster is used as a Tribute and this card is sent to the Graveyard, return this card to your hand.

    Normal Spell
    Choose 1 Monster on the Field in defense mode and destroy it.

    Nightmare's Steelcage
    Normal Spell
    This card remains face-up on the field for 2 of your opponent's turns. No monsters can attack. Destroy this card during your opponent's 2nd End Phase after this card was activated.

    Quick-Play Spell
    Destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field.

    Normal Spell
    Return all Spell and Trap Cards on the field to the respective owners' hands.

    Equipment Spell
    While your Life Points are lower than your opponent's, the original ATK of the equipped monster is doubled. While your Life Points are higher, the original ATK of the equipped monster is halved.

    Nobleman of Crossout
    Normal Spell
    Destroy 1 face-down monster and remove it from play. If the monster is a Flip Effect Monster, both players must check their respective Decks and remove all monsters of the same name from play. Then shuffle the Decks.

    Heavy Storm
    Normal Spell
    Destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field.

    SD12-JP023
    Ectoplasmer x2
    Normal Spell
    Only once during each player's End Phase, the turn player Tributes 1 face-up monster on his/her side of the field and inflicts damage to the opponent's Life Points equal to half of the original ATK of the Tributed Monster.

    Select 5 Monster Cards from your Graveyard, then add them to your Deck and shuffle it. After that, draw 2 cards.

    Add any number of cards from your hand to the Deck and shuffle it. Then draw the same number of cards you added to the Deck.

    Normal Trap
    Tribute 1 DARK monster with 2500 ATK or more. Declare either Spell or Trap Card. Check all Spell and Trap Cards on your opponent's side of the field, your opponent's hand, and all cards they draw (until the end of your opponent's 3rd turn after this card's activation), and destroy all cards of the declared type.

    You can only activate this card when your opponent's monster declares an attack. Remove from play all monsters in Defense Position on your opponent's side of the field.

    Normal Trap
    You can only activate this card when your opponent declares an attack with a monster. Instead of you, your opponent takes the Battle Damage you would have taken as a result of this battle.

    Verhindert die Effekte anderer Subgroup Cards!? Wie bitte?

    wenn es nur "Cards" heißen würde, wäre es mir ja klar. Dark Ruler Ha Des usw. Aber effekte von anderen Untergruppen negieren? Mh. Stelle ich mir irgendwie doof vor, wenn ein Monster nur Effekte von Dark Scorpions oder Sanctuary in the Sky-Abhängige Monster negiert.

    Allerdings denke ich, dass es nur ein einfaches "Angriff negiert Effekt"-Deck wird. Ich sage jetzt schon vorraus, das Dark Ruler Ha Des eine Weiterentwicklung spendiert bekommt.

    Was ich toll fänd'. Mochte den mal echt gerne, aber in 'nem Dark World lässt der sich irgendwie verdammt schwer unterbringen (bzw. ist nicht drin), vllt. gibt der ja Möglichkeiten zu 'nem Fundeck.

    Könnte mich auf jeden Fall dazu bringen, wieder mal öfter zu spielen, wenn das Structure was taugt. Ich bin gespannt.

    Aber dann garantiert nicht in diesem Deck.

    Ich gehe sogar soweit zu glauben, dass das Deck Skill Drain beinhaltet, da von Fallen und Zauber die Rede ist, die Effekte negieren. 8 neue Karten, da kann was feines dabei sein.

    Also, meine erste Einschätzung dazu: SCHLECHT!

    Es sind kaum Monster oder Zauberkarten dabei, die sich wiklich lohnen oder die nicht schon in anderen Decks waren.

    Und zu allem Überfluss kommt nun auch noch das Deckzerstörungsvirus (man erinnert sich vielleicht finster an Kaiba's Falle), die ultimative Meta-Karte, auch noch zu uns.

    Das Deck hätte mit Ha Des und anderen mehr Potential gehabt, so aber wirds sicher nichts.
